Summer in the Psalms Sermon Series:

Part I. July 4

Pastor Kevin kicked off a new sermon series in the Psalms for the summer on Sunday, July 4. Based on Psalm 24:1-5, key takeaways included:

  • Transformation begins when you understand who owns it all.
  • The only one truly capable of ascending the hill is Jesus.
  • We owe the world an encounter with God.

Part II. July 11

Pastor Nate continued the sermon series in the Psalms with a message from Psalm 8.  Key takeaways included:

Part IV. August 1

  • We must intentionally praise Him with thanksgiving for this work in our lives.

Part V. August 15

Pastor Nate continued the Psalms sermon series on August 15 with a message from Psalm 46.  Key takeaways included:

  • We must be reminded of God’s promise to us through Jesus Christ.
  • We must speak of this good news that has come and is yet to come as we wait in anticipation.

Part VI. August 22

Pastor Nate continued the Psalms sermon series on August 22 with a message from Psalm 146.  Key takeaways included:

  • We must not compartmentalize our life of praise to God; our whole life is consecrated to Him.
  • We must understand that He is our Savior and His Kingdom is not of this world.
  • We must diligently proclaim this good news to every generation in our midst.

Part VII. August 29

Pastor Nate continued the Psalms sermon series on August 29 with a message from Psalm 90.  Key takeaways included:

  • We must realize and respect God’s authority throughout all creation for eternity.
  • We must intentionally seek the provision that God has promised to His people.
  • We must steward the life that God has allotted for us for His glory.
