Part I. February 7

Pastor Nate kicked off a new sermon series on Sunday, February 7 to take us through the book of Galatians: Nothing But the Truth.  Based on Galatians 1:1-5, key takeaways included:

  • We must know Scripture to determine who is trustworthy.
  • We must trust and believe that Jesus’ death was on our behalf.
  • We must live as those who have freedom from sin and shame.

Pastor Nate continued with Nothing But the Truth sermon series.  The message was based on Galatians 1:6-10 and key takeaways included:

  • We must understand our need for the Gospel.
  • We must trust and understand the Gospel’s impact on our daily life.
  • We must seek unity under the banner of the Gospel.

  • We must be sure that our allegiance is to the Gospel of Christ alone.
  • We must understand both our need and the grace of the Gospel.
  • We must seek Gospel transformation in our own lives, those we love, and those far from God.

  • This is not the end but the beginning.
  • Jesus doesn’t promote sin.  He’s the provision from it.
  • Don’t rebuild what has been destroyed.

Part II. March 14

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth sermon series with a new theme, “The True Family”.  His message was based on Galatians 3:1-9 and key takeaways included:

  • We must discern what is leading us, the Spirit or the world.
  • We must seek more of Christ to look more like Christ.
  • We must trust that our new family identity is found in Christ alone.

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth sermon series with the theme, “The True Family”.  His message was based on Galatians 3:10-14 and key takeaways included:

  • We must recognize our inability.
  • We must cherish the love that Christ Jesus has for us.
  • We must trust the Spirit to work in our lives.

Part II. March 28

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth sermon series with the theme, “The True Family”.  His message was based on Galatians 3:15-22 and key takeaways included:

  • We must recognize God’s promises and trust them.
  • We must understand and proclaim the impact of Jesus in our lives.
  • We must recognize and welcome His Spirit working daily within us.

Part II. April 4

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth sermon series with the theme, “The True Family”.  His message was based on Galatians 3:23-29 and key takeaways included:

  • We enjoy the freedom of life with a clear conscience.
  • We place our hope in the love of the Family of God.
  • We identify with Christ alone, His life, death and resurrection.

Part II. April 18

Pastor Nathan Bucher was officially installed as Senior Pastor on April 18.  He continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “The True Family” sermon series.  His message was based on Galatians 4:1-7 and key takeaways included:

  • We regularly assess if we are living as if enslaved.
  • We recognize action in life transformation.
  • We cry out to our Father, who loves us.

Part II. April 25

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “The True Family” sermon series.  His message was based on Galatians 4:8-20 and key takeaways included:

  • We follow the One who knows us intimately, not the world.
  • We base our lives on truth, no matter the cost in this world.
  • We seek ways for the Gospel to transform us.

Part II. May 2

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “The True Family” sermon series.  His message was based on Galatians 4:21-5:1 and key takeaways included:

  • We remember that this is not our forever family home – heaven is.
  • We utilize our freedom to relate the love of God to others.

Part III. May 9

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth sermon series, beginning a focus on “True Freedom”.  His message was based on Galatians 5:2-12 and key takeaways included:

  • We remember that Jesus Christ alone is enough.
  • We are free from doing because of what Christ has done.
  • We bear the offense of the cross to preach true freedom.

Part III. May 16

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “True Freedom” sermon series.  His message was based on Galatians 5:13-15 and key takeaways included:

  • We check our desires with the Spirit, not by our own rationalization.
  • We focus on being self-giving rather than self-serving.
  • We use our freedom to unite to one another.

Part III. May 23

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “True Freedom” sermon series.  His message was based on Galatians 5:16-18 and key takeaways included:

  • We choose each day to be led by the Spirit in all manners of life.
  • We battle the flesh by growing in the Spirit.
  • We find our freedom by the Spirit’s action in our life.

Part III. May 30

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “True Freedom” sermon series.  His message on “Works of the Flesh” was based on Galatians 5:19-21 and key takeaways included:

  • We must honestly and thoughtfully reflect on what our life is evidencing.
  • We trust that the Spirit can supersede our past life in the flesh.

Part III. June 6

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “True Freedom” sermon series.  His message on “Fruit of the Spirit” was based on Galatians 5:22-26 and key takeaways included:

  • We must be rooted in the Spirit in order to have genuine fruitfulness.
  • We actively pursue and cultivate the Spirit work in our life.

Part III. June 13

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “True Freedom” sermon series.  His message on “Fruit Cultivation” was based on Galatians 6:1-5.  Key takeaways included:

  • We must be Spirit-led to rightly love our brothers and sisters.
  • We must regularly evaluate our own load-bearing.

Part III. June 20

Pastor Nate continued the Nothing But the Truth:  “True Freedom” sermon series.  His message was based on Galatians 6:6-10.  Key takeaways included:

  • We must engage our minds to properly grow in the Spirit.
  • We must actively pursue holiness in our daily life.
  • We must endure the hardships of doing good in a corrupt world.

Part III. June 27

Pastor Nate wrapped up the Nothing But the Truth:  “True Freedom” sermon series.  His message was based on Galatians 6:11-18.  Key takeaways included:

  • We must actively seek inward transformation not religification.
  • We must humbly look to the Cross and not the world.
  • We must live our life growing in trust and knowledge of God’s Word.
